Competitive Pricing - Our new customers often comment on our reasonable pricing. Part of our mission is to provide top quality items at reasonable prices. If you are here to sell to us or buy from us - we will buy items for more money and sell them for less than our major competitors - how is this possible?

It is a simple case of costs;

1) Website based business - Advertising

2) Store / website business - Land rent, Staff, Utility bills, Advertising

If the internet only business buys an item for £500. They can sell it for £800 and make essentially a full profit of £300. If the store/website business buys the same item for £500 they will have to sell it for a lot more to cover the rent of the store, the wages of their staff and all the other additional costs with having a physical store.

Collector studio have a 2400 square foot premises in Toronto, Alex Reade have a double store in Londons busiest and most exclusive shopping street - Regents street. So the £500 item has to be sold for £1200 or more to cover the additional costs. The customer is paying for the store, staff and all of those overheads.

Furthermore, you can also see why we are able to offer those who sell us items more money as we do not need to sell for significantly more than we buy.

It is truly a global market for collecting F1 memorabilia, the "world championship" is more global than any other sport. Our customers are literally from every corner of the earth. Tying yourself to one physical location and then charging your customers (the majority of which are via your website) elevated prices to justify it is not sustainable.

The tables are beginning to turn. Alex Reade will close down their expensive London shop in early 2010. We aim to further our contacts, expanding our range of items to bring you the same high quality items as the established stores for significantly less money
